Measles Update
If you live in Cardiff and the Vale and are unsure if your child has had the MMR vaccine, you are encouraged to check their personal child health record (red book) in the first instance.
If you remain unsure, other options include:
- Contacting the Local Child Health Team on 02921836926 or 02921836929
- Contacting your GP Practice, avoiding peak times such as early mornings where possible.
- Alternatively, check your GP practice website where there may be an option to make an electronic request to check your child's vaccination status.
Options for MMR vaccination include:
- Your GP Practice
- Your local Mass Vaccination Centre. Call 02921841234. Phone lines are open Mon-Fri between 9am and 5pm.

Patient Reminder: Door Opening Hours
Since October 2023 the main front doors to the surgery have opened at 8:30am rather than 8:00am due to contractual changes.
Patients who choose to queue outside the surgery at 8.30am to request an appointment are not guaranteed an appointment as the phone lines are open from 8am. If you need a routine appointment, please contact our main reception number instead. Our phone lines are open from 8am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
This change will support our reception team as it will enable more reception members to be on the phones from 8:00am to deal with appointments and queries. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.

NHS Wales App
The NHS Wales App allows you to access NHS services such as reordering your repeat prescriptions, access to parts of your medical record, NHS 111 advice and organ and blood donation services.
To access GP services online via the App you must have a fully verified NHS login, or valid photo ID to set one up, and be aged 16 or over.
The ‘NHS Wales App’ is available online at Login screen (nhs.wales), and can also be downloaded on your smartphone or tablet via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
